What a fun time! The PTA provided a photo area, a couple of guessing games and provided straw for the scarecrow contest to add to the fall festivities! Did you get to see the grade-level scarecrow contest in the courtyard?

We had a rockin' time at this year's Mullica Township Trunk or Treat! Thank you all who stopped by - we hope you got the candy you want!
The Mullica PTA hosted Family Game Night this past Wednesday. A fun time was had by all! Congratulations to the lucky game and ticket raffle winners! On June 8th, PTA hosted Carnival Day - students were able to go on bounce rides, water rides, take a shot at the dunk tank, play games and have some treats! A great day to unwind and celebrate all of the hard work they put in this year! This year, students also each painted a rock, which will be displayed in the courtyard across from the library. Each rock, just like each student, is unique! On June 7th, PTA President Jessica Carroll and PTA Secretary Andrea Figley attended the ACUA Clean Communities Dinner for Mullica PTA's adopted section of Moss Mill Road. (Remember the spoiled milk from earlier this year?) If anyone is interested in helping keep our adopted road clean, please contact the PTA for our next cleanup date!
Way to go Coyotes! We did it! At our recent Happy Camper Book Fair, we sold the equivalent of one book per student! As you know, Mr. Mazzoni wants us all to read this summer, so he agreed to sleep in a tent outside at school if we made this goal! Check out some of the pictures below of his camp out on Family Night! At last week's PTA Meeting, we announced the winners for the 2017 Jaden Ohnemuller Muskett Visual Art Contest themed "Mullica Community". Tie for first place went to Lydia Vogel, who created a wood carving display and Angelena Buonsante, who submitted a video. The first place winners each received $150 and an award certificate. The remaining 11 participants received a $10 Michael's gift card and an award certificate. Assemblyman Vincent Mazzeo was in attendance and handed out certificates to our participants. The art from the contest will be displayed in Assemblyman Mazzeo's offices in Northfield.
Mullica students showed their teachers how awesome they are during our teacher appreciation week, May 1st through May 5th. Teachers were showered with notes of gratitude, special treats and supplies, and super stars! Administration served breakfast on Thursday and the PTA sponsored a luncheon on Friday. We can't thank them enough for all that they do!
